If I wasn’t firmly planted in my seat, I’m quite certain I’d be bouncing off the walls right now. Atlus has released a new teaser trailer for their next highly-anticipated Shin Megami Tensei spin-off, Persona 5. There’s been very little information on the title since the first teaser trailer revealed last November. While this new trailer, again, doesn’t show much on the nature of the game, we have been introduced to a new character; a bespectacled high school student who I presume will be our new main protagonist. It appears as though the game will take place in an urban environment — a departure from the rural setting of Persona 4. Take a look at the trailer below:

In addition to this sweet new trailer, Atlus also revealed that Persona 5, originally announced as a PlayStation 3 exclusive, will actually be coming to the PS4, as well. The original “Winter 2014” release window also appears to have been pushed back to a more vague “2015.” Even so, it’s pretty difficult to contain my excitement. After the highly entertaining experiences delivered by both Persona 3 and Persona 4, the bar certainly has been set high for the new title.
