Nihon Falcom announced the latest Ys title in the franchise, presently, simply referred to as Ys. It was among the 44 titles that were announced for the PlayStation 4 and Vita at Sony Japan’s latest press conference. It will once again star Adol Christian who seems to be followed by two new characters, and will continue to use Ys Seven and Ys: Memories of Celceta’s gameplay style with the 3rd person perspective and not the top down perspective of previous titles. The game will be set in the “Goethe Sea,” an archipelago of South Gria.
The game is due out in Japan next year – like most of the titles announced at the press conference. You can catch the teaser below.
