Steam is having a Japanese indie game festival to coincide with Comiket which will begin in a couple of days. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this event, Comiket is a popular convention in Japan that features many Doujinshi (think indie) manga and video games among many other things. Comiket is home to many exclusive products which end up becoming incredibly rare and sell for a lot of money online.

As for this Steam sale, some of the games featured are very good such as Astebreed, Ether Vapor, La Mulana or the eXceed series. There appears to be a lot of bullet hell Shoot ’em ups on sale, so those of you looking for a nice challenge should take a look at these deals. For only a couple of dollars (seriously, the cheapest game is $1.74) you can treat yourself to one or more of these interesting titles and add them to your Steam library.
