The Xbox One has been on the market for 9 months. As of right now, it’s far behind the PS4 and even trailing the Wii U. The good news is that Microsoft is willing to go all out in order to draw in gamers. This includes dropping the Kinect from the main Xbox One SKU. So, what else do they have in store? Let’s see…

After a cold opening that featured the latest trailer for Assassin’s Creed Unity (launcing October 28th), Phil Spencer and Gregor Bieler (Microsoft Deutschland team General Manager) welcomed everyone to the briefing. One of the first things talked about was the expansion of markets the Xbox One will be sold in. 29 new countries will be added, starting on September 2nd. In addition, a number of games were featured as coming later this year, which include Grand Theft Auto V and Destiny.

The game will be getting a special bundle in Europe for €399.99/£349.99 as well as have the Ultimate Team Legends content exclusive for Xbox. As many as 15 legends will be included in this content.

More was talked about Call of Duty: Advance Warfare. The guys from Sledgehammer Games, the developers this time around, were excited about what they were bringing to the series in terms of gameplay and story. This was followed by more gameplay of the game, which included things like shooting moving cars, flying grenades, and using a car door as a shield after ripping it off. The game will be coming November 4th with all DLC coming first to Xbox consoles. In addition, a limited edition Xbox One bundle will be coming to North American and European regions for €499.99/£429.99/$499.99. The console will include a 1TB hard drive.

Rise of the Tomb Raider

Next, we a look at Rise of the Tomb Raider from Crystal Dynamics. This is the sequel to the rebooted Tomb Raider that was released last year. The developers announced that the game will be coming to Xbox next holiday season.

(NOTE: This was initially reported as an Xbox exclusive. Crystal Dynamics even made a post about how it would be exclusive. However, it seems that the exclusivity may be timed. Rumors that seem to be coming out of the studio state that the game will only be exclusive to Xbox for this holiday season. We’ll let you know when the full story is revealed.)

Quantum Break - Banner

Following that, we have a new look at Quantum Break from the developers at Remedy Entertainment. This is not only the first look we’ve had at it since last year but the first time we will see gameplay. It looks like the main character will be caught in an explosion that destroys an experiment and give him the power to manipulate time. Gameplay appears to be action oriented with controls similar to that of a normal third person shooter. As for story, time is breaking down and only the main character and his main enemies can continue moving in time stutters (which is what it’s called when time stops around him). No release has been given yet for Quantum Break.

Fable Legends - Logo

Fable Legends is up next. A multiplayer beta will be open on October 16th. You can sign up for it at fablelegends.com. In the meantime, they showed off a trailer that showed how you can play as the villain in the game, killing off the heroes of Albion.

They also announced a White Xbox One bundle for Sunset Overdrive for North American and European markets for €399.99/£349.99/$399.99. A skill based ranking system will also be included, identical to what was in Halo 2. They finished the demonstrations by showing off a multiplayer battle in an updated Sanctuary map. Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be available on November 11th.
