Mighty No. 9 | Call's Jet Pack

Mighty No. 9 (the massive Kickstarter success from Mega Man godfather, Kejii Inafune) is still plugging away to its 2015 release date. Comcept (the development studio headed by Inafune-san) has been releasing video footage of the game regularly. On Friday, Comcept released some more gameplay footage. Take a look:

True, there’s a lot of old footage, but we can see some bosses and even a playable Call. Call, in particular, looks really interesting, thanks to her jet pack. And, even though it isn’t new, Beck’s abilities look refreshingly different from the Mega Man games that Mighty No. 9 is inspired by. The mechanics seem to reward skillful play, giving the player more speed and power. All in all, Mighty No. 9 looks to be shaping up quite nicely.

About Guy Rainey

I’m Guy Rainey. I’m a hardcore Nintendo fan, a PC enthusiast, and a Sony sympathizer. Also an amateur/aspiring game creator. I love any game that puts story as the main focus of the game, so that means JRPGs are my favorite genre almost by default.
