Super Smash Bros. 3DS | oprainfall

Nintendo will be holding another Smash Bros. tournament, this time at San Diego Comic-Con. Where the Super Smash Bros. Invitational at E3 was for the Wii U version of the game, this new tournament will have participants competing on the 3DS version of the game.

The tournament will be held on Friday, July 25th at the Nintendo Gaming Lounge in the Marriott Marquis & Marina, which is adjacent to the San Diego Convention Center. It will start at noon with a preliminary round where the winners of four-player battles advance.

Anyone attending is welcome to stop by on the day of the tournament to sign up for a chance to participate, but spaces are limited and will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis. For the multitude of fans not capable of being there in person, the event will be streamed live over at Nintendo’s Twitch Channel.

Super Smash Bros. will be out for the 3DS on October 3, with the Wii U version releasing during the holiday season. Both versions are available for pre-order.
