Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley | Natsume

A couple of weeks ago, Natsume announced they would be creating a new Harvest Moon game with the subtitle The Lost Valley. This came a week after XSEED announced that they would be localizing the latest installment in the long-running Bokujō Monogatari series, which Natsume had localized from 1997 to 2013. Natsume said it would evolve the series, showing nothing but a logo at the time.

Now, with the release of the first trailer, we can see just what new look Natsume will give us. Check it out.

Initial reactions to the trailer compare the new look to that of the open-world indie game Minecraft. From the looks of things, the player will be able to adjust the land to some effect. Not sure how involved that gameplay aspect will be, but Natsume promises that with this, no two farm lands “will be alike.”

Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley is coming to the Nintendo 3DS. It is shooting for a release late this year.
