Hyrule Warriors

So far, Japan has had more info on Hyrule Warriors than we do. Not only do they have a final name, they even have a release date. That changes today. Nintendo has announced September 26th as the day you and a friend can go about slashing through hordes of moblins and stalfoses. The final title appears to be Hyrule Warriors given the new art they’ve produced for it.

They didn’t leave us completely wanting though. Turns out, Hyrule Warriors will have numerous playable characters. Today they showed off Midna of Twilight Princess fame and Zelda of… well you know. The developers also promised that you will be able to play as many of your favorite characters from the series. Tingle for Hyrule Warriors confirmed?

In Hyrule Warriors, Link is a soldier-in-training with some rather powerful admirers. There’s princess Zelda who runs Hyrule. Then there’s the good witch Cia. At least, she was good until she grew jealous of Zelda for being overly familiar with Link. She became corrupted and started an all out war with Hyrule. All of Hyrule is thrown into chaos by the fighting. Link is joined by Impa, Zelda’s personal guardian, in this war in hope they can restore the balance of the land.

Hyrule Warriors will be released on September 26 for the Wii U.

Karli Winata
Karli Winata is an avid gamer with a taste for a little bit of everything. Except for sports games. And racing sims. And definitely not hidden object games! I guess everything is too broad a term. Suffice it to say that he has been known to play hours of Call of Duty multiplayer in between bouts of Persona fusing and Star Coin collecting while saving the world/galaxy through sensibly bald space marines or plucky teenagers with impossible hairstyles. Where does he find the time to write about them?
