Drakengard 3 Feature

Drakengard 3 is available today for the PlayStation 3. If you missed out on the Collector’s Edition, which was very limited in number and sold out rather quickly, you can now buy and download the Digital Collector’s Edition, which has all the DLC included in the physical Collector’s Edition, for $64.99 (USD) from PSN. You’ll get things like One’s Prologue, the Giant Baby Hat for Mikhail, Caim’s Garb, the Japanese Voice Pack, the Nier costume pack and six PSN themes.

There are also themes and DLC to buy individually. The Japanese Voice Pack can be bought separately for $4.99. There’s also DLC not included in the Digital Collector’s Edition, including Manah’s Garb for Zero ($2.99), a wearable Tokyo Tower for Mikhail ($0.99), a Nier remix pack ($1.99), and a Drakengard 1 remix pack ($1.99). Square Enix says more DLC is on the way.

Square Enix also released a launch trailer to get you psyched. Or not…but do let us know if you plan on buying the game!

About Crystal Colwell

What's up everyone? Crystal here! I spend my time writing up the news for you all and keeping us all up to date with incoming game info from Japan. I do a little bit of everything else around here, too. 🙂 Happy Reading!

I bought the physical CE of this and I’ve been reading a few chapters of the novella. I am deeply disturbed by the characters and ethos which leads me to believe that the creators did a tremendously great job at developing the characters, their background, and the universe they exist in. Don’t even get me started on the soundtrack. I listen to it at the gym.

Fuck that!!! Square/Enix should have made the collector’s edition available on other online sites. God knows how much space this will eat up

I weathered the Digital River storm of obtuse online purchasing, delayed order confirmations, and useless order tracking…but in the end, they managed to get the CE of Drakengard 3 to me on the morning of the launch day.
