Robot Master No. 6: Needle Man

Most Original Robot Masters

Okay, let’s work through the logic here real quick. Dr. Wily builds an army of dangerous robots to take over the world, equipping them with weapons to do the job, and he arms this guy with needles? Against other robots?! That’s like going into a gun fight with a toothpick! Logic aside, Needle Man is no joke to battle. His attack pattern is unpredictable and can hurt you really quickly. Plus, design-wise he looks like the love child of Air Man and Sonic the Hedgehog. So very… original.

Robot Master No. 5: Blizzard Man

Most Original Robot Masters

And you thought Needle Man was weird. At least he has an actual weapon! Blizzard Man, meanwhile, attacks with skis and snow. Seriously. Bosses like him are probably part of why Mega Man 6 got so much flak. That said, he is kind of hard to forget. Plus, if you battle him with just your Mega Buster, he’s actually quite challenging. Now for something downslope.

Robot Master No. 4: Spark Man

Most Original Robot Masters

Okay, some probably think Spark Man is much less weird than some of the previous ones. I would still argue he is. Most of that argument stems from his odd design. I mean, just look at the guy! He doesn’t have the standard buster, his arms are pylons and his head is just strange. But, if you disagree, worry not. I’ve saved the most original for the last three.

(And yes, I know that his head looks like a spark plug; it still looks strange)
