Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition - Steam | oprainfall

Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition, the recent PS4/PS Vita port of the original game including the Xtreme Legends expansion, will be coming soon to Steam, says Temco Koei Europe. It will be released sometime this May in the US and Europe. Other than that, all we know is that there will be graphics options.

As a PC gamer who has never tried a Warriors game, this is exciting to me. This isn’t the first time that Dynasty Warriors has come to PC, but Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition will mark the first time the series has hit Steam. PC gaming is huge thanks to Steam. Valve estimates that there are 75 million active Steam accounts (which is limited to owning at least one game and using Steam on a regular basis). That’s equal to almost every major console (possibly more if you take into consideration the failure rates of consoles). It seems that Japan is beginning to take notice of this sizable market, so the PC is getting more and more Japanese games.

Well, is anyone else planning on picking this up?

About Guy Rainey

I’m Guy Rainey. I’m a hardcore Nintendo fan, a PC enthusiast, and a Sony sympathizer. Also an amateur/aspiring game creator. I love any game that puts story as the main focus of the game, so that means JRPGs are my favorite genre almost by default.

So they would risk a pc release but not a xbox release in which probably a couple hundred thousand people own 8. yeah okay koei

I think the fact that the game is already avaiable in Asia (Steam region protected i believe) made it easy to just make it available to the worldwide masses. Still, I agree an Xbox One version even if it was just digital would have made some sense considering PC to the new consoles porting should be a lot easier now

Pretty sure nobody bought an Xbox in Japan.
