Wild Arms | oprainfall

Sony Computer Entertainment producer Kentaro Motomura recently had an interview with Weekly Famitsu telling them that he would like to see Wild Arms on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

Now Motomura, who is currently producing the new Soul Sacrifice Delta and who also produced Wild Arms 3 onwards, appeared in a live broadcast on Nico Nico announcing a crossover event between Soul Sacrifice Delta and Wild Arms. Players will be allowed to choose which items from Wild Arms will be put into Soul Sacrifice Delta, including gear and weapons. Some of these choices are displayed in the screens released.

This was announced very soon after the announcement of another Wild Arms crossover, this one with Dokodemo Issho to celebrate the 20th anniversary of PlayStation.

With all this Wild Arms news, one can assume that Motomura’s request to bring the series to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita isn’t too far off from being fulfilled. Just today Soul Sacrifice Delta’s European and North American localization was announced, so let’s hope Western fans get a chance to participate in this amazing crossover idea, and also a chance to see a new installment in the Wild Arms series.
