Citizens of Earth - Reveal Newspaper

The votes have been cast. Atlus has elected to publish Citizens of Earth, an RPG where you take control of the newly elected Vice President of the World as he and the citizens of Earth defend the planet from calamity.

If the name sounds familiar, that’s because we’ve covered this game during its crowdfunding phase a while back. While the game didn’t make its funding goal, Eden Industries continued to work at the game, even releasing a demo build as recently as early March. The work has paid off as Atlus USA will bring the game to North America and Europe this year on PC as well as PS4, PS Vita, Wii U, and 3DS.

In addition, Atlus will be holding a Citizen of the Year contest. In this, you submit an idea for a recruitable citizen that will become part of the game. The submission period starts now and goes until April 18th. They’ll then select the best citizen ideas and hold a Final vote on their Facebook page on April 23rd. Finalists will receive a digital copy of the game. The Grand Prize Winner will have their character placed in the game as one of 41 citizens you can recruit. You can check out the contest by clicking here.
