Tales of the World: Reve Unitia looks to bring together multiple series heroes on the 3DS.

Bandai Namco have revealed a teaser site for their upcoming 3DS title, Tales of the World: Reve Unitia. This will be the latest game in the Tales of the World spin-off series. And while it does have some striking resemblances in the above image to previous Tales of the World title Tactics Union, it is not confirmed whether it is a new title in a subgroup or even a port of the mobile game.

Like other Tales of the World games, Reve Unitia brings together multiple heroes from the Tales series to the world of Revalia, a dream world that was used as the setting of Tactics Union. The cast of Tales all-stars includes Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia, Jade and Natalia from Tales of the Abyss, Yuri from Tales of Vesperia, Asbel from Tales of Graces f, and Meredy from Tales of Eternia. There are also two original characters that have been revealed: the timid and gentle Terun and the stronger big brother-like Nahato.

Not much is known about Reve Unitia right now. So far, we know that the brand new characters were designed by Daigo Okumura and that full voice acting will be a part of the experience. The game is slated for release on 3DS, but no release date has been set, nor has it been confirmed for international release.

Something I found while trying to translate what the title means: Reve is French for Dream. While I wasn’t able to translate Unitia to anything, I think it stands to reason that the word would work out to Union. So, you have “Dream Union” along with Tactics Union to form a subseries.
However, that’s just speculation, since nothing has been confirmed.

OOOOOO really interesting. I can’t wait to hear more about this one. I also hope we get this game too because we only got one tales of the world here in the U.S.

oh man! I hope we get it. Nintendo usually gets only one tales game a system. hope we get more.
