PRESS RELEASE:

ShinyLoot Shifts Approach, Discounts Four Franchise Titles

Amidst a new shift in their company policy, ShinyLoot launches their Full Steam Ahead Sale. Customers will find titles from four fantastic franchises on sale for 75% off – Europa Universalis IV, Crusader Kings II, Supreme Commander, and Alan Wake. The sale is a kickoff point for a new ShinyLoot with a new home page that will focus on more than just selling games.

“We want to be more than just a store. There is much greater value we can add to the general gaming community than simply providing a large library of games. Opening up to the sale of Steam required games really opens those doors. In the next couple of weeks, customers will see the start of the long term implications of this decision when we release our first game exploration based tool,” said Chris Palmarozzi, co-founder of ShinyLoot.

ShinyLoot has also released a retooled list of priorities that will drive the young company moving forward. In addition to discovery and exploration, the company will focus on providing a level playing field for indie games, offering worldwide customer equity, and selling the most minimal amount of DRM possible. The shift in company policy will now allow for the sale of Steam required games to meet goals of improved game exploration and discovery.
