Kisareth Studios has announced that their 16-bit RPG Chronicles of a Dark Lord: Episode 1 Tides of Fate will be getting a bit of DLC. The DLC will add some new features, a graphics upgrade, and lead the story into the upcoming Episode 2.
Here are some of the new features from their press e-mail:
– 80% of the original mapping graphics/textures have been replaced.– New “Battle Gauge” that now puts the player in control over when/how often a random encounter takes place.– New Title Screen.– New post-game dungeon that expands on the back-story of Magus Drakhen Lee.– 6 new music tracks.– New bosses and regular enemies created exclusively for the DLC with new enemy art including a new superboss.
The DLC will set you back $1.50 (USD) and be available on Kisareth Studios’ website first, then on Desura, Amazon, Shiny Loot, Green Man Gaming, and Gamersgate soon after. There will also be a $3.99 bundle that will include Dark Lord: Episode 1 Tides of Fate on certain sites like Desura.
