Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment comes out next month on April 24th in Japan, and some fans might be thinking of importing the game. Well, Bandai Namco Games Taiwan recently said their version of the game will include English subtitles. Good news for fans who were considering importing the PlayStation Vita game! However, you will have to wait another month to play the game, since the Taiwanese version won’t be released until May 29th.

For now, check out some images from the game.

English, or Engrish? That is the question. For great justice.

  • Kempher

I too am wondering about the english. I see menus in english, although the shop isn’t at all. If there will be subtitles that would work. If this has enough english to be playable I would probably buy a PS Vita just to play it.

  • TrueWiiMaster

If they’re going to have English subtitles, why don’t they just release it on PSN in the West?

  • Michael Ramos

I noticed that there is a LE … Will there be a LE option if I were to import the Taiwanese version?

  • Honeydew

English subs will be cool, but will the Taiwanese version keep the original Japanese dub?!

    • Pyrotek85

      Pretty sure, yes.

  • Inza

if those screens are from the taiwan version, then you can hardly call this subbed. most japanese games have some english here and there in their menus and this looks exactly the same.

Those screenshots are from the Taiwanese version of the game, English subtitles will be implemented when you choose it at the start of the game. We just don’t have any English screenshots to post
