Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call will be getting two songs from the SaGa series as post-launch DLC. The songs appearing in the DLC are “Sewers” from Romancing SaGa and “Four-Aristocrat Demons Battle 1” from Romancing SaGa 3. These songs join the already expanded tracklist presented in the upcoming Theatrhythm sequel.

Last week it was revealed that the tracklist of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call includes songs from spin-off Final Fantasy games, but this marks the first time that music from a non-Final Fantasy game will be featured in Theatrhythm. The game officially releases in Japan on April 24 alongside a fancy special edition 3DS XL, and more rounds of DLC are sure to be announced in the coming months. It will be very interesting to see if future DLC will include songs from other intellectual properties owned by Square Enix.

What series would you like to see music from in a Theatrhythm-style video game?

Former Staff. Let me break down my life for you real quick. I am almost always playing games. When I'm not playing games I'm writing about games. When I'm not writing about games I'm running. When I'm running I'm usually wishing I were playing games instead. I can't tell you how excited I am to write for you all here at oprainfall.

  • Any word if Theatrhythm DLC will transfer over to Curtain Call? I don’t mind buying the game again, but I’m going to be mighty pissed if the old DLC doesn’t transfer, especially considering how expensive it was.

I really hope some Chrono Trigger/Cross songs make their way to this game.
