If you’ve been following the Breath of Fire Facebook and Twitter pages, you may have seen plenty of mentions of the 20th anniversary pins that your admin has been giving out at conventions and as prizes during livestreams. Well, we’re now giving creative BoF fans the opportunity to get ahold of them again with a Facebook cover photo contest.
The premise is simple. 2014 marks Breath of Fire’s 20th anniversary in North America and Breath of Fire II’s 20th anniversary in Japan. We’re asking fans to create a 851 x 315 pixel banner celebrating these anniversaries, be it through pixel and/or sprite art, fan art, etc. Fans have until Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 12 AM EST to submit their banners to [email protected].
We will be judging cover photo entries for Breath of Fire I and II separately, meaning that there can be two winners; so if you’re creating one for BoFI, you’re more than welcome to also submit a BoFII entry.
The top picks will then be voted on by you, the fans, and not only will the winners get their design featured on the Facebook page, but they will also be mailed two 20th anniversary Breath of Fire Ryu & Nina pins!
