Insanity's Blade

Causal Bit Games is working hard to bring us Insanity’s Blade, and a demo is now available. The game offers players a chance to take an 8-bit trip through hell with a blend of action, platforming and RPG styles of gameplay. Battle through eighteen stages, and scale buildings, cages and walls! The game has been adapted from the Insanity’s Blade graphic novel and was designed to closely match the capabilities of the Nintendo Entertainment System.

Follow the journey of a sword possessed by a father’s powerful grief and hatred, as the first game in the series tells the tale of the sword’s creation.

Notes/Instructions (from the Kickstarter Page):

Note that the game is still very much in beta and that there will be minor bugs and missing sounds, etc.

The instructions are contained within the zip files. You may use a control pad to play the game!

Download the demo zip files for Windows, Max,  and Linux (32-bit and 64-bit) here.

If you want to see the game on Steam you can vote for it here. I think I’ll go try out the demo and see what’s what. If any of you give it a go, let me know what you think!
