Ys: Memories of Celceta

It appears that yet another game in the Ys series is making its way to the PC in China. Ys: Memories of Celceta, originally released for the PlayStation Vita in Japan, North America, and Europe, will be ported by Joyoland to PCs in China as 《伊苏:树海》.

Joyoland has been responsible for porting other Falcom titles to Chinese PCs in the past, including Zero no Kiseki and Ys Seven. They’ve also previously shown interest in bringing the PC port of Ys Seven to the West. Presently, Western PC gamers have access to Ys I & II Chronicles, Ys Origin, and Ys: The Oath in Felghana, courtesy of XSEED. Perhaps if things go well, Joyoland will be able to release Memories of Celceta over in Western territories.

Joyoland has scheduled the Chinese PC port of Memories of Celceta for mid-2014. Currently, it is unknown what kind of major changes, if any, will be made to the game. You can check out our review for Ys: Memories of Celceta here.
