Game Music Prayer CD - Philippines Typhoon Relief | oprainfall

Well-known game musicians gathered for a limited release CD for Philippines typhoon relief

In order to gather donations to help the victims of Typhoon Haiyan that slammed into the Philippines in November 2013, causing massive fatalities and damage, a limited release compilation CD (“Game Music Prayer”) featuring music by various game musicians such as Professor Sakamoto, Hiroki Kikuta (Secret of Mana, Legend of Mana), Motoi Sakuraba (Tales series, Valkyrie Profile), and Soyo Oka (Super Mario Kart, Sim City) was made available for purchase at two events, the “Comic Market C85” on 12/31/2013 (Tuesday) and the “Tokyo Game Music Show” on 2/22/2014 (Saturday). They sold a total of 299 discs and donated $4,500 dollars to the relief efforts.

All proceeds were donated through the Japanese Red Cross Society (donation credentials can be seen at their website)
