If you’re as excited for Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars as some of the staff here at oprainfall, you’ll be glad to know that Atlus has given us some more details about the English release of the game. They’ve announced that pre-ordered copies of the game will not only feature special box art (pictured above), but also a 10-track soundtrack arrangement composed by Masato Kouda.
Atlus also shared some details on the game’s story and characters, and released some new screenshots (see below). The hero of the game discovers his special ability on his first day of class. He is accompanied by Fuuko, one of the seven heroines in the game who gives the hero his first Star Children. Along with Fuuko is Choltz, the hero’s “awkwardly endearing” best friend and third wheel. The hero’s rival, Alec, is described as “pompous and arrogant” and comes from a rich family with “untouchable influence”. He was the top student in school before the hero arrived and dethroned him, and Alec is “quick and eager” to regain his title.
Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars is a turn-based JRPG which was released on the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita earlier this year in Japan. The game will be heading to North America sometime in 2014. If you’re looking for some more information on the game, be sure to check out the official announcement and the opening movie.
