Ys: Memories of Celceta | Karna Violent Tempest

With only four days left before Ys: Memories of Celceta is released in North America for the PlayStation Vita, XSEED Games has posted a new English trailer featuring Karna, the party’s cheerful knife-wielding huntress. Those familiar with the Ys series will know she was an extremely powerful escort ally in Ys IV. She possessed the Napalm Shot attack in the Japanese version, considered one of the most powerful attacks in the game.

You can watch the video below:

The gameplay looks fast-paced and action-packed. Karna appears to be versatile in speed and offense, using maneuvering skills as well as melee and long-distance attacks. In addition to having an array of attacks, her Napalm Shot ability returns and looks like it packs a serious punch. Players who enjoy rushing at their enemies and unleashing a flurry of attacks will feel at home playing as Karna. Notably, she’s described as having a habit of “attacking first and asking questions later,” so her play style has a lot to do with her personality.

Ys: Memories of Celceta for the PlayStation Vita will be released November 26 in North America. The game will be released in Europe early next year by NIS America in partnership with XSEED Games/Marvelous USA.
