Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God - Screen

Aksys has announced a release date for Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God. The game will be releasing on the PS Vita on December 10, 2013.  Follow the story of Pupuru who is on a quest to save a  friend’s curry restaurant.  To do this she must find the ingredients to make the legendary curry.

Sorcery Saga’s gameplay is that of a roguelike dungeon crawler, meaning if you die you will face permanent penalties for doing so.  If you die in a dungeon all items and levels obtained in the dungeon will be lost. So you will need to plan ahead if you want to survive. They say there are a couple of ways the game makes this less difficult on the player.  Though they do not go into any detail on how this is done. Combat is turn based for old school lovers, and you will move about the dungeon on a grid like system.

I am personally looking forward to this yummy title when it is released.

About Steve Baltimore

Steve started with oprainfall not long after the campaign moved from the IGN forums to Facebook. Ever since, he has been fighting to give all non-mainstream RPGs a fair voice. As the site admin, he will continue to do this and even show there is value in what some would deem "pure ecchi." He loves niche games and anime more than anything... well, except maybe Neptune.
