At New York Comic Con 2013, Aniplex USA announced the theatrical screening dates and US premiere date for the highly anticipated third Madoka film, Madoka Magica The Movie -Rebellion-. It will play in Japanese theaters this month and premiere in France November.
The original cast from the television series and the first two films will reprise their roles for the upcoming film. A new character, Nagisa Momoe, will appear as a new magical girl.
Madoka Magica The Movie -Rebellion- will premiere at the American Cinematheque Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles on December 3rd. Tickets will go on sale October 15th, with limited supplies of goodies exclusive to those who purchase a premiere ticket. These include a mini autograph book, a movie guide book, a Madoka Magica gift bag and a Kyubei phone holder. Special Madoka-themed merchandise—such as key chains, bandanas, canvas art, phone holders and more—will also be on sale.
