New Atelier Rorona: Origin Story of the Alchemist of Arland - oprainfall

Gust will be releasing a remake for Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland, which will be titled New Atelier Rorona: Origin Story of the Alchemist of Arland. The remake will feature some interesting changes, such as making the gameplay system be more like that of Atelier Meruru Plus, and a new graphical design.

Gust has uploaded a video that compares the old and new Atelier Rorona games. It features both side-by-side comparisons as well as a back-to-back view of the same scenes in both games. The most noticeable change is that characters seem to have been given a more mature look.

Take a look at the video below and let us know what you think in the comments!

New Atelier Rorona: Origin Story of the Alchemist of Arland will be released in Japan on November 21 for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita systems. There’s no word yet on a Western release.
