Taiko no Tatsujin - oprainfall

This week in Famitsu, Namco Bandai announced that Taiko no Tatsujin will receive a game on the Wii U.

The new game will feature three options for controls which players can choose from. Naturally there is the drum, which was available with the Wii version. The Wiimotes can also be used to drum away as well as using the gamepad, which is a new feature for the Wii U. With the gamepad, players are able to drum on the touchscreen in combination with the TV, much like the Taiko no Tatsujin DS games.  Players will also able to use the buttons on the gamepad while the TV is off, again like the DS versions.

Some other features included are: up to four players are supported, Mario and Luigi masks are available, and there is at least one new song from the upcoming Pokémon X and Y games. Other songs that will be playable will be coming from AKB48, Exile, Ikimono-gakari, One Piece, and Aikatsu. Taiko no Tatsujin will be released November 21, 2013 in Japan.
