Disgaea D2 First Run Bundle

Nippon Ichi fans should be getting those pre-orders in, as NIS America announced that the first-run copies of Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness will come with a bundle of bonuses.

This first-run bundle will include a two-disc official soundtrack, a graphic print, and a costume add-on pack for Laharl, Etna, and Flonne. Those who are unlucky to get a first-run copy will still be able to get the costume add-on pack for free, as it will not cost a dime to download for the first 30 days of the title’s release.

Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness is a direct sequel to the original Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, following the exploits of Overlord Laharl and his minions Etna and Flonne as the netherworld he inherits starts to slip back into anarchy.

This title is a PS3 exclusive, and will be available in North America on October 8th, 2013. European fans will only have to wait until September 27th to get their hands on Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness, as well.

Agree, I hadn’t even heard about Vita Disgaea 4 yet but figured it would happen, and since I played 1/2/3 much more in there portable forms anyway, I skipped 4 on the PS3 entirely. I hate to ignore what looks like such an awesome game, but NIS has set obvious precedent that waiting is the thing to do.
