Etrian Odyssey IV

Although we found out earlier that Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan was Europe bound, it looks like we finally have an official release date. The game will be released on August 30th of this year. Etrian Odyssey was released in Japan in July of 2012 and made it to the States in February 2013. The game is also headed to Australia at some point, although a date has yet to be announced. NIS America will be publishing the game in Europe and Australia. The game was published by Atlus in Japan and North America.

The Etrian Odyssey games are a series of dungeon crawler role-playing games developed by Atlus. Etrian Odyssey IV is a 3DS exclusive as is the next entry in the series, Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl. The Millennium Girl is headed for North America on October 1st of this year. Although there’s no news yet on an Australian or European release date, hopefully the release of Etrian Odyssey IV means that The Millennium Girl will also make it to those regions.

If you’re a newcomer to the Etrian Odyssey series, don’t fret! Atlus has reprinted the first three games in the series, and if you’re looking to learn more check out Operation Rainfall’s review of the first game. And if you’re in Europe, get your 3DS ready for Etrian Odyssey IV this August!
