It’s time for even more news about Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies! This time we’re looking at screenshots, plot details, and an official bio and character art for Pearl Fey. Even though we just saw some screenshots last week, here are a few new ones:

In addition to the screenshots, here are a few more confirmed details about the upcoming Ace Attorney title:

  • Pearl has received her official character art and bio. We know that she’s a spirit medium-in-training, but what case she will appear in is still a mystery.
  • It’s been confirmed that Athena is the main character of the third case. In the trial portion, she will be up against Simon with Apollo as her partner.
  • In the third case, the victim is Juniper’s teacher, who was shot and killed with an arrow, the exact situation that was used in the mock trial between Apollo and Klavier. Since Juniper set up the trial, she’s under suspicion for the murder.
  • Two new characters have been confirmed: hot-blooded Chishiro Atsui and the cool-headed genius, Rei Shizuya. The two seem to be friendly with Juniper, but Athena senses there’s something else going on.
  • It will be possible to have two save files.
  • During the investigation portions of the game, the “investigation memo” will be provided as a check-list of things you must do, giving you a reference on what to do next in case you get stuck.
  • During the trial portions of the game, if your health is low you can ask for hints from your partner.

It seems like that’s all for now, but if you’re itching for more feel free to check out the demo (if you don’t mind that it’s in Japanese). And be sure to stay tuned for more upcoming news on Ace Attorney 5!
