Gintama and God Eater 2 Crossover - oprainfall

Ever have that problem where you can’t decide whether you to watch Gintama or play God Eater 2? Probably not, since God Eater 2 hasn’t been released yet. But if you think this will be a problem in the future, you can at least rest easy knowing that the game’s demo will give you the option to dress the characters in Gintama-themed costumes.

The demo, due out July 25th, gives players the option of putting characters in costumes belonging to Gintoki and Kagura from the anime and manga series Gintama. It was teased in Shonen Jump magazine that this is only the beginning of a collaboration between the two franchises. Maybe this means there will be some Gintama-themed DLC comment for the actual game eventually.

God Eater 2 will be released on PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Portable consoles sometime later this year. We’ve been keeping up with announcements regarding the game over here at Operation Rainfall; click here to see the latest.

Gintama is a comedy series that follows the antics of a samurai named Gintoki as he struggles to pay rent in an alien-infested Edo. You can watch the series over at Crunchroll.
