A slew of new games have appeared in this week’s Media Create sales charts. More than half of the chart is a new game. And they’re led by Namco Bandai’s Gundam Breaker, the latest game in the Gundam franchise.

Also making an impact are two games that have already been announced for localization: Toukiden for Sony handhelds and Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl on Nintendo 3DS. Both games debuted in the Top 3 with Toukiden moving 188,810 total units (122,794 for the Vita version alone) and Millennium Girl moving 88,278 units. Both games are expected to release in Q4 of 2013.
It’s also worth noting that Toukiden caused an almost 18,000 unit jump in Vita from last week. All systems saw an increase in units sold, but the Vita was the main catalyst for getting sales numbers above 100,000 again.
Two other games to note in this week’s Media Create charts. First is Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky. The game made it into the Top 5, securing a modest 57,550 in sales. Given how the series has been localized in the past, we should expect this one to come over.
On the other side is The Legend of Heroes: Sora no Kiseki the 3rd Kai HD Edition (translated as Trails in the Sky Third Chapter). The game did make the Top 20, but could only move 5,970 units. Given the low sales numbers and that the Second Chapter has yet to be released in the West, it may take a while for us to even hear about this game again.
