Faylan, a Japanese singer, has announced that she will be performing the opening theme for BlazBlue: Alter Memory, the upcoming anime adaptation of the fighting series. She will also be performing “Blue Sanction,” the opening theme song for BlazBlue: Chronophantasma, which is the next game in the BlazBlue series.

BlazBlue: Alter Memory

Faylan has other such performances, like the theme songs for The Future Diary, The Qwaser of Stigmata, Gundam AGE, Samurai Girls and both seasons of Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East. If you are interested in purchasing some of her work, her single, containing “Blue Sanction” and “wonder fang,” the theme song from season 2 of the Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East anime, will be shipping on July 24, and will be available for 1,200 Yen ($11.91).

For those curious about this anime: It takes place in December of 2199. Anticipation runs wild as the ending of one year commences and another is about to start. During the celebrations, it is discovered that Ragna the Bloodedge, an SS-class rebel, has appeared in the 13th hierarchical City of Kagutsuchi. Ragna (AKA: The Grim Reaper) intends on destroying the system that controls the world. In hopes of collecting the bounty, unrivaled fighters set loose on Kagutsuchi.

BlazBlue: Alter Memory is set for release in Japan this fall.
