Two Brothers reminds of me the days when my friends and I crowded around a computer screen to watch a game’s trailer, and talk about how cool it was. That’s kind of how the staff reacted as soon as the first footage surfaced online. Jonathan, you’ve got to see this! This game has you written all over it. …Did it ever, ladies and gentlemen.

Ever since then, I’ve done everything I can to get the word out about this game. I’m hoping thanks to my efforts and some help, you all are anticipating Two Brothers as much as I am! As many know, the game is headed to PC, Mac and Linux this summer. And it’s headed to Wii U and other platforms later on in the year.

Here’s something many may not know. A while back, I saw rumblings of a group trying to reach out to Ackk Studios, in an effort to let them know they wanted Two Brothers on the PSVita. The Ackk Studios Facebook page was filled with numerous voices, all who wanted Two Brothers on Sony’s platforms. And to be completely honest, I was among them.

PlayStation Network

That’s why I couldn’t be happier to announce on behalf of Ackk Studios: Two Brothers is headed to the PlayStation Network! This means that you’ll be able to play the game on PS3, PS Vita and PS4! The PSN release of the game will be heading your way alongside the other console versions coming later this year.

I know this news makes a ton of people happy. Be sure to share your excitement with us and Ackk Studios in the comments below! We’ll offer more information as it comes. In the meantime, why not follow Ackk Studios on Twitter or visit their website?

Also, because it’s been too long since I last posted it, let’s have a look at the most recent trailer for the game one more time, shall we? I think it’s great that no major platform shall be left behind.

Getting this for Wii U, but glad to see it’s getting more exposure.

  • CrazyManDan

With the GameBoy aesthetic, this game just feels like it belongs on a handheld; I’m so happy to see this heading to Vita.

“I think it’s great that no major platform shall be left behind.”

Is this a jab at MS’s consoles, or just saying that it is getting on more platforms?

    • CrazyManDan

Two Brothers was already confirmed for the XBOX360, it just wasn’t explicitly mentioned in the article. With it already having been announced for all major PC flavors, the 360, and Wii U, the PSN was the only major platform still in question.

    • Thomas Johnson

I either forgot or didn’t know it had already been announced for XBL, which is weird, since I’ve been following this game for a while.

    • At the end of Trailer No.2, you can see PC, iOS, Linux, Wii U and 360 logos below the intended release window. 🙂

    • Thomas Johnson

I’m one of those people who, once I’ve decided that I will buy a game, I stop watching trailers or looking at screen shots, because I want as much of the game as possible to be fresh when I play it. I decided I would get this back when it was announced for Wii U, so it’s been awhile since I’ve seen any of the trailers.

So stoked for this game <3

Im guessing the Two Brothers are the Amabo Kcorb and Brock Obama facebook pages. I’ve heard they’re making a cameo appearance at least, but does anyone know if the game’s title is actually centered around them?

    • Axle_Magnum

Nope. They’re just cameo characters. The two brothers are named Roy and Bivare Guarder.

  • Capitalism, ho!

This game looks like Secret of Mana suffering memory overflow.

    Which means it looks awesome.

  • ClayMeow

Is it truly going to have a native Vita version or just through Remote Play? I’m not getting a PS4.

    • Brandon Beckman

It’s a native PS Vita game available from the PSN. 🙂

    • ClayMeow

Awesome, thanks! I’ll keep my eye on future updates 🙂
