The Wii U gets some indie love as the 2D puzzle- platformer, Teslagrad, will be added to its game lineup this Fall. Teslagrad was originally slated for release on PlayStation 3, PC, Mac, and Linux, as well.

Developed by Norwegian developer Rain Games, Teslagrad is a 2D puzzle-platformer that will focus on aspects of magnetism and electricity. The player will have to be creative, and think logically as they solve puzzles within the game’s steampunk-themed stages that will have a blend of European motifs.

Also coinciding with the Wii U announcement, the studio has released a set of new in-game screenshots, detailing the new zones within Tesla Tower.

Definitely going to pick this up on Wii U when it comes out.

Sidenote: could they really not get an updated picture of the Gamepad to use for their screenshot? The one in the pic is the pre-release version with circle pads.

Yeah. There is a lot to do when you publish games. Sorry for the oversight.

Nice! Looks like a fun little puzzle platformer! More good games for my Wii U, please 😀

You can never have too many indie games.
