Pandora's Tower - Elena

For the people who did not pick up Pandora’s Tower at launch, there is now an incentive to do so, as the action RPG’s price has officially dropped. According to video game retailers like GameStop and EB Games, as well as Amazon.com, Pandora’s Tower is now at $29.99 instead of $39.99, which was its initial launch price.

But sadly, for our Canadian friends, the game still costs $40 at EB Games and Amazon.ca. While it can still be purchased at US stores and shipped to Canada, they require additional shipping fees that vary from each retailer. So unless there are ways to work around this, they’re going to have to bite the bullet and spend a little bit of extra cash to get the game for cheap.

As you may know, Pandora’s Tower is the third and final game among our series of coveted Nintendo-published RP’s. Published by XSEED, along with The Last Story, the company’s commitment to support Japanese niche games is commendable, and their cooperation with Nintendo to localize these games has done us all a huge favor. While Pandora’s Tower is not in the same league as RPG titans like Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story, it is a unique game in its own right. And, according to our review, it is an underdog of a game that adds a lot of unique and valuable qualities within the Wii’s last moments.

So are you ready to buy Pandora’s Tower with the new price drop? Tell us your thoughts in the comment section below!
