Hidden beneath the frantic E3 coverage, AckkStudios has released four new Wii U screenshots for their upcoming title Two Brothers. For those who are unfamiliar of the title, Two Brothers is an ode to the classic AARPGs (Action/Adventure/Role-Playing-game) of yore “created in the style of GameBoy games.” It began as a Kickstarter that reached its goal last year.

Currently, AckkStudios is trying their luck on Steam Greenlight in an attempt to increase the availability of this non-substandard classic in the making. If interested in helping Two Brothers get green-lit, be sure to visit here for our recent report on AckkStudios’ endeavor.

Down below, laying in wait for your viewing pleasure, are the four Wii U screenshots mentioned earlier. Some of the shots are bright and full of life, the others colorless and nostalgic. This contrast between color and opaque palette schemes plays a huge part in what makes this game so unique and worthy of your attention. Two Brothers releases in 2014 for the Wii U and late this summer for PC, Linux, OSX, and Xbox 360.
