At last, what Nihon Falcom fans have been waiting for! The trailer for Ys: Memories of Celceta (Ys: Foliage Ocean in Celceta in Japan) is now available for your viewing pleasure. For those who don’t know Ys: Memories of Celceta, is a remake of Ys IV, which had two games released for it: Ys IV: Mask of the Sun and Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys. This game now taking on the canonical mantle that was originally Mask of the Sun‘s.
While lacking in the translated text, the majority of the video is spent on the game’s impressive looking fast-paced combat, beautifully animated cutscenes, and at the same time, letting us bask in more of Falcom’s magnificent music that they always provide in their games. As far as a release date for Ys: Memories of Celceta, right now all we have are place holders; no official release date has been announced as of yet for this PlayStation Vita exclusive title.
