What I like about these guys is that they all seem like hard dudes. But… god DAMN, these dumbass names!

  • Jonah Rosen

What? not a single female character?

    • There’s 2 females, one being a rival to Noctis but a playable character whom teams up with him. (Possibly the female lead) And another one whom I don’t know too well about…

    • Jonah Rosen

Ah, that’s good. For a second, I was worried this game might end up being sausage-fest territory, which would probably be a first for a FF, one that I wouldn’t be too fond on.

    • tamara saadeh

why would you want a female character with them? it wouldn’t make any sense!! i read in an article that they have a certain bond between them ” you know like bros before hoes or something like that :P” and a female between just doesn’t add up! Stella might join them in the progression of the game (who knows!) but the whole point of them being all males is that relationship they have with each other ( that didn’t sound right did it? -_-) anyway, maybe it’s only me but i’m a girl and i prefer playing with males instead of females!!

    • Jonah Rosen

Please tell me you are joking… >_>
If you’re not, please save me the trouble and beat yourself over the head already…-_-
Every JRPG has to have at least 1 female character and at least 1 male character. It’s an unwritten rule, bra. you just can’t go changing that. It could cause a ripple in the Space-time continuum. It would be like if Superboy Prime punched reality again.

    • tamara saadeh

Well…. it is “a fantasy based on reality” so…

    • Jonah Rosen

I’m sorry to be the one to tell you this, but not everyone shares your “fantasy”. My fantasy is to have a harem of beautiful women, but I don’t see that happening anytime this century or the next.

Besides, like I said, there’s going to be at least one or two female characters in the party because it’s an unwritten JRPG rule to include at least one member of each gender into the cast of playable characters in such a traditional series such as this. (I say traditional because there’s a newer JRPG series called Hyperdimensia Neptunia that consists of an all female party.)

    • tamara saadeh

It has already been confirmed that you can play with characters outside Noctis’ party, and i bet one of these characters is Stella, so your “an unwritten JRPG rule” will be achieved 🙂

“I’m sorry to be the one to tell you this, but not everyone shares your “fantasy”

what fantasy might that be?-_-, i just wrote you the quote from the game, and you turned its’ meaning upside down!
“My fantasy is to have a harem of beautiful women, but I don’t see that happening anytime this century or the next.”

What?!!! what does that have to do with anything i said? it seems like you understood my point in the wrong way, i’m sorry i mislead you and i was inaccurate, but it seems that i have to explain my point again but i don’t think you and me have time for this right? we have better things to do and each of us has a different stand point and i respect that i really do, so all-in-all what i want to say is: to each his own^.^

    • Jonah Rosen

      I’m sorry, it was me that misread everything you said, So allow me to apologize. -__-;;

I didn’t recognize your second reply to me as a quote from the trailer. So I read it along with some of your first reply as something along the lines of “My fantasy is to drool over an sexy all-male cast” or something to that effect. Again, I like to apologize for misreading your comments like that and to a negative effect, so please forgive me as I am truly sorry.

  • unknowncast

    West Side Fantasy

  • mikey

Very boring and dull compared to the cast of FF6 or FF7

    • Xanedis

Where I live, it is customary to play the game before voicing opinions.

  • Come on! Where are the girls!?

  • Vallen

Is this all SE gave us during their mini conference? I hoped for release dates or more gameplay (maybe even a demo)
