Bayonetta is back! And this time you and your friends can fight alongside each other as Bayonetta and Jean. The two player mode for Bayonetta 2 was announced at a Nintendo E3 presentation today, but it did not include any further details on the new mode. Some more good news has been revealed in the way of drool-worthy screenshots; sadly our leading lady has all of her clothes on in these images.

New angels are shown, as well as a hair style swap between Bayonetta and Jean. I am not sure if I am in favor of this yet, but I certainly do approve of the whips attached to her boots! Every girl needs some whips!

As well as the screenshots, you can watch the previously revealed trailer for the game:

Bayonetta 2 will be exclusive to the Wii U and is slated to be released in 2014
