Daylight

Atlus, who likes keeping us on our toes, has yet another game to talk about today. This time, they are going to move into the horror category (which makes yours truly very happy), with a game called Daylight. Developed by Zombie Studios, known for developing Konami’s Saw video games and Blacklight: Retribution, this is a psychological thriller that promises to make next-gen a scary place to be! Check out the trailer for yourself below and see what you think.

Creepy? I thought so! Players who decide they can handle the horror will need to find all of the messages and clues that are scattered about Daylight‘s labyrinthine twists in a series of derelict hospital corridors. Other creepy environments will also be available in the game, just to give us goose bumps at all things going bump in the night.

Daylight was built with the Unreal Engine 4, and also boasts the addition of procedurally generated levels. This ensures that no two playthroughs of the game will be the same, leading to new and unexpected scares every time. The game will be available sometime in 2014 for the PC and Sony PlayStation 4. We’ll keep you posted for more information about this intriguing horror title.
