Gunpoint | oprainfall

Suspicious Developments’ puzzle game Gunpoint is currently 10% off through Steam- a pretty good deal of only $8.99. The offer is good until June 10. Players take on the role of a freelance spy, and engage in some good ol’ fashioned corporate espionage by accepting jobs from clients, and breaking into heavily guarded buildings to steal data. In order to accomplish this, players will need to make full use of the game’s main gadget – the Crosslink. This device allows the player to see just how each security system in a given building is all wired up, and, by clicking and dragging the components around, allows the player to change the wiring schematic. Use this nifty tool to trick or trap guards and make your way through each building.

In addition, the special edition of Gunpoint is currently 25% off. For $14.99, players can get the game, the soundtrack, as well as some optional in-game commentary for each level, provided by the game’s developer. The exclusive edition is also on sale – for $26.99. It includes all of the above, as well as a making-of video, exclusive tracks from the game’s composers, and the “Prototype Pack” which includes 9 playable versions of the game, each one from a different stage of Gunpoint’s development.

For more information, screenshots, and trailers, please visit the game’s website.

About Daymon Trapold

Daymon joined oprainfall because he has a deep, nerdy love for niche games—basically anything Atlus-/XSEED-/Aksys-/NIS-related. An obscene collector of such games (some may call it obsessive), he is also a part-time bassoonist and a full-time dork.
