Max Factory Zero Suit Samus Statue

As previously announced, Max Factory’s Nintendo line-up — the moveable Link and Samus figma, and Zero Suit Samus statue — are getting a re-release after popular demand, followed by an official American release after licensing disputes with Nintendo have finally been settled. Now Gamestop is stocking Link and Samus Figmas, and Zero Suit Samus statue, and taking pre-orders at its online site. Max Factory’s three Nintendo figurines are seeing American distribution by Diamond Comics.

Like the hobby retailers providing these Max Factory figurines, the Link and Samus action-figures are running at $49.99 apiece, while Zero Suit Samus is running at $99.99. All three items will be available for sale on October 30th of this year, and can only be purchased through Gamestop’s online store — if you plan on buying at Gamestop that is. But just in case you are buying from Gamestop, it’s recommended to keep a Power-Up Rewards account handy whenever you make a purchase. The Link, Samus, and Zero Suit Samus figurines can also be purchased at other hobby retailers like Big Bad Toy Store, which have been taking pre-orders for a while now.

It is also worth noting that Max Factory has manufactured Figmas for both Pit and Dark Pit from Kid Icarus Uprising. If the Link, Samus, and Zero Suit Samus figurines are successful in the States, hopefully Diamond Comics will consider bringing over the Pit Figmas for a future release.

Me likey Zero Suit Samus 😀

My boyfriend says the Zero Suit Samus is a waste of $100.
I beg to differ. The detail is amazing, and plus it’s cheaper than what the Japan sellers are selling it for, which is close to $200.

    • I agree. The detail is absolutely amazing, and it’s well-constructed as a whole. I bought mine last year as an import, and though I don’t regret the extra cost of international shipping, I’d definitely say that a $99 domestic release is well worth it.

Dammit, I would pre-order now but I’m already committing $100 for Tales of Xillia collector’s edition… After I get it, I’ll definitely get the Zero Suit Samus one.

  • These are awesome. But…I think I should save up for games instead…
