After a week of everything falling in the Media Create charts, we get another week of falling sales. Hardware sales are down 18,000 from last week for a total of 73,056 units sold. Most of that comes from falling 3DS sales. For software, we again have only one game eclipsing the 100,000 mark with Summon Night 5 on PSP. Animal Crossing: New Leaf seems to be reaching a saturation point as it drop below 20,000 for the first time. And to make the Top 20 this week, Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 needed to combine to sell 2,168.
But remember, there should be a jump coming in next week’s Media Create charts with several new games coming to Japan. Here’s a list of what I’ve been able to find for games that are coming out in the week of May 20.
- Resident Evil: Revelations HD (Wii U, PS3, Xbox 360)
- Valhalla Knights 3 (Vita)
- Shin Megami Tensei IV (3DS)
- Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D (3DS)

All four should easily find a spot in the Top 20 (and most should stay on the list for a while). So, get ready to see a jump next week.
