Class of Heroes Characters

Class of Heroes 2 will finally be coming to the PSN on June 4th after an unexpected delay. The PSP dungeon crawler was originally set to see a digital release on the PSN, as well as a limited physical release on March 26th. However, Gaijinworks ran into a licensing issue about the song in the opening animation right before the game’s scheduled release and was forced to delay the title.

Gaijinworks explained that rather than hold up the game unnecessarily, they will simply remove the opening animation and resubmit the game to Sony QA so that it can come out sooner. They stated that once the licensing dispute is taken care of, they will put the opening back in and resubmit the game to PSN.  They went on to say that they do not want to delay the release anymore than necessary so that they can gauge interest in the game early to speed up a potential release of Class of Heroes 3. Unfortunately, however, the delay has slightly raised the price of the digital/physical combo version of the game.

For those unfamiliar with the series, Class of Heroes 2 is a first-person dungeon-crawler set in a high school with 100+ quests and hundreds of classes to chose from. Although there have been some bumps in the road for its North American release, it seems to be a game that is certainly worth the wait.
