Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition | oprainfall

Amazon.com is pushing their digital downloads fairly hard these days, what with really good sales coming to it every week (whether they are games you actually want is the only question). This week is no exception, as Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition on the PC is on sale for only $7.49. Take a look at the system requirements (listed below), and, if your computer can run it, don’t hesitate to take advantage of this screaming deal. Not only will you get one of the most challenging games of this generation, it’ll get you ready for Dark Souls II this year, which seems poised to be a serious Game of the Year contender.

System Requirements
Minimum Specifications:
OS: Win 7, Vista and XP
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 GHz+ or AMD Phenom II X2 545 3.0 GHz+
Hard Drive: 8 GB
Video Card: GeForce 9800 GTX+ or ATI Radeon HD 4870+
Additional Info: Steam account and Games for Windows Live required for game activation and installation

Bear in mind that this deal only applies to the digital version of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition. Hard copies, available through Amazon.com, are still sold at regular price.

About Guy Rainey

I’m Guy Rainey. I’m a hardcore Nintendo fan, a PC enthusiast, and a Sony sympathizer. Also an amateur/aspiring game creator. I love any game that puts story as the main focus of the game, so that means JRPGs are my favorite genre almost by default.
