We’ve got a good amount of content in this week’s Nintendo Download. For the 3DS, the first of the Guild02 games, THE STARSHIP DAMREY, is available today for $7.99. We’re also getting Swords & Soldiers 3D ($6.99), Bowling Bonanza 3D ($5.99), Dress to Play: Magic Bubbles ($3.99) and California Super Sports on DSiWare ($4.99/500 points). For the Virtual Console, we’re getting Mega Man 5 for the NES ($4.99) and Harvest Moon for the Game Boy Color ($4.99).

We’ve got some downloadable content for both Fire Emblem: Awakening and Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate this week. For Fire Emblem: Awakening, the next map in the Future Past map pack is available today for $3, or you can get the whole pack for $6.50. For Monster Hunter, a new set of quests, An Ominous Cry and Gathering of Songbirds, are available this week for free.

Meawhile, on the Wii U, the digital versions of Resident Evil Revelations and Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes are also available this week. There’s also a sale for BIT.TRIP Presents…Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien going until May 30th, which has the game available for 25% off its usual price.

Finally, the Wii U Virtual Console gets a few new additions in the forms of Super Mario Bros. 2 ($4.99), Super Ghouls n’ Ghosts ($7.99), and Super Metroid, which is currently on sale for $0.30 as part of the Famicom 30th anniversary. In addition, you can get the Wii U version of Super Mario Bros. 2 for half off from now until May 23rd at 9 AM if you buy the Wii U version of Super Mario World. THE KING OF FIGHTERS ’99 is also available on the Wii’s Virtual Console (900 points).

In addition to video games available at retail stores, Nintendo also offers a variety of content that people can download directly to their systems. Nintendo adds new titles weekly to the Nintendo eShop for the Wii U system as well as the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL systems, to the Nintendo DSi™ Shop for the Nintendo DSi system and to the Wii™ Shop Channel for the Wii console.

The Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service and features games, applications and videos. Users can add money to their account balance by using a credit card or by purchasing a Nintendo Prepaid Card at a retail store and entering the code from the card. All funds from one card must be redeemed in either the Wii U eShop or the Nintendo 3DS eShop, respectively. They are not transferable and cannot be divided between the two systems.

The Wii Shop Channel offers games and applications and uses Wii Points™, which can be purchased via the Wii Shop Channel. The Nintendo DSi Shop offers games and applications and uses Nintendo DSi Points™, which can be purchased in the Nintendo DSi Shop.
