Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemist of the Dusk Sky

One of the newer screens for the game

With new characters from Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemist of Dusk Sky, such as Aulin, Slayer, and Rafer  explained, a big batch of screenshots featuring the three has been released. Screenshots include stills from cutscene cinematics, varying forms of combat in the battle system, and the ruins of what looks like an old alchemy lab.

Here are the new images for Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemist of Dusk Sky:

Wow! What a big batch of screenshots indeed! These screens give us a glimpse of the kinds of weapons and abilities each of these new characters possesses, as well as an idea of what their personalities are like when we take a look at their postures from the cinematic shots.

Like the recent Atelier games before it, such as Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland, Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland, Totori: The Adventurer of Arland, and Ayesha: Alchemist of Dusk,  Escha & Logy: Alchemist of Dusk Sky continues this stylistic trend by Gust in all its stunning beauty. The character models look like illustrations in motion, the color palette looks visually appetizing, and the character designs by Mel Kishida are very graceful. The close-ups on each character performing special attacks look really good, as well.

Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemist of Dusk Sky is set to release in Japan on PlayStation 3 on June 27. There is no word on a Western release so far, but hopefully it gets announced for an international release in the future. Stay tuned for more.
