Nintendo Download

Before we get into the Nintendo Download, I want to share something with you from yesterday’s press release from Nintendo.

You Are Not Dreaming – This is Real: Nintendo fans rejoice: EarthBound is coming to the Wii U Virtual Console this year.

No, it’s not coming today. But, for the first time in over a decade, we have a chance at playing EarthBound in a viable form – as well as affordable and legal. Here’s hoping that day comes soon.

As for the here and now, we have games coming to the eShop for the 3DS. Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns 3D and Tetris: Axis are now both available digitally. They will be joined on Sunday with the retail and digital release on LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins. Some of the other new games on the service include Mystery Murders: Jack the Ripper, Super Little Acorns 3D Turbo, and Witch & Hero. DSiWare will also see new releases, which include Working Dawgs: Rivet Retriever coming today and Puzzler Brain Games and Puzzler World 2013 (both will also be available as 3DS downloads) coming on April 23rd.

And coming the following will be the opening of the Wii U’s Virtual Console. Games will be available for similar prices compared to the Wii’s service.

Finally, new DLC is available for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. The new dungeon is called Strongest Trail and is available for purchase now.
